Tractionel Enterprise Welcomes New Proposals Engineer, Sithembile “Sthe” Nanto
Johannesburg, South Africa – Tractionel Enterprise is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sithembile “Sthe” Nanto to its growing team of professionals. As the new Proposals Engineer in the Proposals Department, Sithembile will be based at the Head Office in Building 2 with the Proposals Engineering team.
Sithembile comes to Tractionel with an impressive academic background, holding a Masters degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s Technology in Electrical Engineering. His robust experience spans the design and coordination of grid infrastructure, project management, and commissioning in areas such as renewable energy projects, coal-fired power stations, transmission lines, substations, and more.
Reflecting on his career journey and accomplishments, Sithembile shared, “My greatest achievement was being part of a team that constructed and connected two renewable energy wind farm projects, each with a capacity of 147MW, to the grid. Completing this project and my master’s degree in the same year, 2022, was a significant milestone.”
As he steps into his new role at Tractionel, Sithembile’s ambitions are clear. He aims to play a pivotal role in advancing grid interconnection both within South Africa and globally, driving the mission to address and mitigate the challenges of load shedding.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Sithembile is passionate about soccer and remains deeply involved in community initiatives.
